I bought some of this Lipfinity stuff last night. The color looked right. I wanted something that didn't wear off within an hour. |
So I paid 12 bucks for this stuff, right? I put it on this morning and, while it was still wet, still looked like the perfect color. Unfortunately, it didn't dry that color. It is now a bit more pink than I wanted.
Here's where I run into a problem. I cannot get it off!!! It won't come off. I've been scrubbing and scraping and that shit is there to stay.
*cry* I guess I just need to go get a darker color and paint over it....or something.
Anyone have any tips for my lips?
Scary... I like natural lips. They don't taste funny.
then again, I'm a guy so my opinion doesn't count much in this case.
Vaseline takes it off. =)
Tips for your lips?
But I won't post them here.
Okay. You're going to have to explain to my IS department why there is Baja Blast all over my keyboard and monitor now....
It's a special flavor of Mountain Dew that is only available at Taco Hell.
Dew. Of course.
And here's me and my dirty mind, as I pondered the meaning of "baja" and "blast".....
I had a witty reply, but this one's better :D
You guys amuse me. I need to leave myself wide open like that more often....
OMG, I laughed so hard, sorry hun. You did say you wanted color that would last tho! :)
Well, yeah..but I wanted the *right* color to last! And I meant last through, you know, normal wear and tear. Not through me taking a chisel to my lips!
However, I am glad that you got a good giggle at my expense. *eye* (of course, I get a few at the antics of you, snow and kids....*duck*)
Well, I truly think the reason I laughed was because I have yet to find a good lipstick and it just sounded like a story from my life. Of course, the catch would have to be that vaseline would not work either and the fine print would tell me that the base color had soaked in rather like hair dye and thus my lips would be permanently colored like that for months to come.
LOL. That sounds about right.
Tips for Holly's lips....hmmm...that's just too open... But either way....if you want it off, any normal make-up remover will take it off, vaseline, isopropal alchohol (not a good idea on your lips), any petroleum based product, but your best bet is to use a make-up remover. I don't know about Lipfinity (cheap-ass lip stick!! ô¿ô) but most of those stay on colors come off with soap and water. Also, did you apply the clear overcoat before you decided it was the wrong color? They dry a weird color, and look wet again with the overcoat. But what were you doing with a pinkish lipstick anyway? You must listen to me, grasshopper, darker colors, and things that lean more toward browns for you, dear! Pink is mostly for people who wish to look like old women or nasty teenagers! And no cock-sucking red for you either!! My advice (which I know you're on the edge of your chair waiting for) is that you find a nice bronze.
