|Houston, this is reindeer watch...

|||||A very special Christmas CD||]|
So I made it to Houston and back. Several bouts of what I would consider *heavy* snow on the way. Now, mind you, it wasn't heavy by Northerners' standards....but for these parts, that white stuff was comin' down.
The kids ran out and played in it when it started in Spring, TX. Barefoot. Mom said "When they get cold, they'll come in". So true.
Mom (Dorothy) was radiant. She was silly and giggly and for the first time ever, I saw myself in her. I think having all three of her girls in once place really made her Christmas.
We managed to assemble *everyone* on the stairs for a picture. There are several of me, Tiff and Misty. I'll post them when I get copies. We even managed to get the timer set so Mom (Dorothy) could jump in.
The radar is showing snow incoming to us. Not sure it will stick. Not sure I'll stay awake to see it. But I think it's pretty miraculous to have a White Christmas.
Midnight Mass was beautiful. It's been so long. Mom (Pat), Jeff and I went and brought Marilyn.
I shall leave you with two amusing moments of my day.
"It would just be such a *you* thing to get snowed into your car in Houston, TX!" ~ Nate
"But I thought you said you wanted oldest to youngest. Holly is the eldest. My..." "So help me God, Misty, if you say elder I will beat you like a big sister should!" Me and Misty on the stairs for pictures.
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you are all blessed with as much love as I have been.
